Our History and How We Got Started

Ronnie Coker, owner of Artisan Quality Furniture Repair, began his journey in 1998 as a delivery driver for Lacks Furniture. Over time, he worked his way up to manager of delivery and warehouse operations.

During his tenure, Ronnie attended Mohawk training classes, where he developed his furniture repair skills. After 11 years with the company, his expertise in wood, upholstery and leather repair led to six years with Ivan Smith Furniture.

In 2014, Ronnie decided to pursue his passion independently, founding Artisan Quality Furniture Repair. Today, he continues to contract with furniture retailers while also providing private repair services for homes and businesses.
